Chris Yearley was born in Bedfordshire and after schooling went on to study graphic design.  He is an accomplished artist, with many of his works being published by newspapers and magazines worldwide, he was also the artist of a long running newspaper comic-strip.

In 1998 Chris joined Radio Napa - as a producer, but quickly ended up presenting his own show.

In 2001, Chris won a New York Festivals Radio Award. The show won a Silver award in the category Best Regularly Scheduled Music Programme, beating off stiff competition – including BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong’s Essential Selection.

In addition to devoting an enormous amount of time to radio - both as a presenter and an avid listener, Chris is a huge fan of popular music. He also contributes regularly to the Famagusta Gazette newspaper and website, where he has written a column for the past few years.

His radio comedy characters have been heard on stations such as the BBC World Service, BBC Local Radio  and even radio stations in the United States.
